St. Patricks Day in NYC

You know you wouldn’t mind getting a smooch from someone. Today is the day to ask for a kiss and have the perfect excuse if you are Irish, or if you will be Irish in a few beers. Everyone can partake in the fun, so grab your friends and paint the town green.  Join the celebration and watch the St. Patricks Day Parade in New York City. The starting line is 44th Street and you can march all the way to 79th St. Be at the center of the celebration in NYC between 4:30 -5:00 pm at the American Irish Historical Society.

The fun doesn’t have to stop there, there are countless of Irish bars showing their colors in celebration. When you visit New York City for St. Patricks Day you can be sure to have a fun-filled day with a ton of partying and amazing drink specials. If you want an all access pass, get a St. Paddy’s Luck of the Irish Pub Crawl band. This gives you countless options in the neighborhoods like East Village, Murray Hill, Chelsea, Midtown West, among others. Whether you are a patron or not, you should know that this is a day that you want to wear your most comfortable shoes. Let just hope they are not your favorite pair as spilling beverages on them is bound to happen, and we wouldn’t want that to ruin your day.

There are other fun events to go to as well such as a movie screening of the Leprechaun, visiting the Merchant’s House Museum for a fun, historical and haunted experience, a little Ireland walking tour or even a comedy show while you get your drink on. No matter how you choose to celebrate St. Patricks Day, have an adventure. There is a great chance of finding your own pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
